FELIXSTOWE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU

For Confidential, Independent, Impartial & Free Advice

Developments

At Felixstowe we have four interview rooms enabling us to cope with the demand for person to person advice. We also provide advice by telephone. We do not supply advice by email. We are particularly targeting volunteers from groups who are currently under-represented across our Service. For example, people with disabilities, people with caring responsibilities, young people, and people from areas of high deprivation will have the opportunity to become involved in the CAB.

Training will be geared to individual needs and additional support will be available if needed. By increasing the number of volunteers, the CAB will be able to provide a better service to the community. In turn, our volunteers will gain valuable skills and will have the opportunity to participate in rewarding voluntary work.
